Scroll of Revival

Description

This fragile, rune-marked scroll glows faintly with silver threads of magical energy. Meant to defy death itself, it is a treasured find among adventurers. When unfurled, the glyphs shimmer in response to nearby souls lost too soon.

Properties

• Can be used to revive a party member who has died (i.e. failed all death saving throws).
• The caster must have at least one intact piece of the deceased's body.
• Using the scroll takes a full action in combat.
• The caster must succeed on a DC 10 Arcana check to activate the scroll.
• The target must have died within the last 3 rounds of combat (18 seconds).
• Once used, the scroll crumbles to ash.

Discovery

This rare magical scroll can occasionally be found deep within ancient dungeons or vaults once occupied by powerful arcane forces. Its creation method is lost to time, making each scroll incredibly valuable.
